Stars descended on Santa Monica for the 28th Screen Actors' Guild Awards, which took place tonight at The Barker Hangar.
The Screen Actors' Guild (SAG) Awards officially kick off red carpet season, and never fails to be a glamorous event. Running since 1995, the annual ceremony celebrates the best ensemble and individual performances of the year across both film and television, and is considered the key predictor for Oscar winners.
With stars of the big and small screens making an appearance, there will be even more excitement around the event this year as it is the first in-person ceremony after 2021's completely virtual one.

Host for the night Laverne Cox was among the first celebrities to walk the red carpet, looking regal in a heavily embroidered black gown featuring a sheer mesh bust with intricate silver detailing and a fur-trimmed cape. She carried a spherical silver handbag, and wore her hair in a tousled up-do.

The cast of Squid Game, one of the breakout television hits of the year, showed up in style, with actress and model HoYeon Jung wowing in custom Louis Vuitton, while co-star Kim Joo-ryoung looked elegant in an ombre pink and blue gown.

It wasn't just black gowns, however, as Helen Mirren arrived in a romantic baby pink gown featuring floral appliqué and a matching pink headband.

Meanwhile, Vanessa Hudgens stunned in an Old Hollywood-inspired mint green gown by Atelier Versace and Lady Gaga dazzled in a figure-hugging white gown from Armani Privé.
