Having made a point to use fashion as a means of connecting and showing gratitude to hosts over her years in the British Royal Family, the Duchess of Cambridge once again used her stylish wardrobe to send a message to Danish people, as she visits the country this week.
It's a lesson she picked up from her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, and Kate Middleton never fails to use what she's wearing to send a message – although both the message and the outfit are very different to the infamous "Revenge Dress" Diana wore.
Kate is in the chic capital city Copenhagen for two days, her first oversees visit since 2019, where she will focus on advocating for young children.
She started her visit with a trip to the Copenhagen Infant Mental Health Project, which works on the mental wellbeing of parents and children, where she met with educators.
During the visit, Kate met with two eight-month-old baby boys and their parents after which she joked: "It makes me very broody. William always worries about me meeting under one-year-olds. I come home saying 'let's have another one.'"

After this, she visited the Lego Foundation PlayLab, where educators and thinkers collaborate to engage with children's learning through play and creativity. While there, she even took a spin on a giant slide connecting two floors, still wearing her heels and all!
For the visit, Kate wore red and white as a nod to her host country, looking elegant in a scarlet blazer and feminine blouse.
The blazer, the Textured Double-Breasted Blazer from Zara, features a bouclé-style fabric with structured shoulders, peak lapels, gold buttons and a double-breasted front. She layered this over a delicate white blouse, the Frill Collar Cardigan Layering Top by ME + EM. The sleeveless design features a ruffled V-neckline and fitted button-up front.
She paired this with sophisticated wide-legged black trousers by Roland Mouret, and added her Gianvito Rossi Piper 85 pumps in black suede. For a final touch of elegance, Kate added her Aspinal Midi Mayfair bag in black patent crocodile leather.
As for jewellery, Middleton added another nod to Denmark by wearing the Cha Cha earrings by Copenhagen-based Maria Black, a delicate pair of gold-plated hoops with a pearl. She also wore the Nura Pearl Necklace from Monica Vinader to match the earrings.
