Kate Middleton has one of the most covetable wardrobes in the world at this stage, but we always love to see a new piece added into the mix.
The Duchess of Cambridge has finessed her style into the ideal blend of classic tailoring, elegant silhouettes and vibrant prints, all while keeping in touch with what's trending. While we're not likely to see elements of the currently trendy y2k trend on the future Queen of England, she can still surprise with her choices.
Her latest look is a striking on, as she stepped out in a glamorous khaki green animal print dress, while on a visit to the Shout mental health text support in London.
Kate carried out the solo engagement yesterday, meeting with clinical supervisors, volunteers and fundraisers at the organisation's Notting Hill office. There, she met with 13-year-old Leo Street who raised £8,000 for the mental health organisation.
Kate, who is joint president of the Scouts, praised the teen's project, saying: "There really isn't a big enough Scout badge for that. What you achieved is really inspiring. You must have had some impressive kit to keep warm."
Opting for an elegant outfit for the occasion, Kate wore the Sammy dress by Derek Lam 10 Crosby, a classic midi dress in a rich khaki green leopard print. Featuring voluminous sleeves, delicate pleats, a pussy bow neckline and cinched waist, all in a flowing crepe de chine material.
She added a pair of gold-plated earrings for some subtle sparkle, a chic twisted hoop style that complemented the outfit perfectly. Enhancing the glam silhouette of the dress, she wore her trusted pair of Ralph Lauren black suede high heel boots that gave the look a touch of 80s power-dressing.
To elevate the outfit even more, Kate added a thick black belt to cinch in her waist and emphasise the dramatic A-line dress.
She wore her long chestnut brown tresses in full curls that fell over one shoulder, while her makeup was soft and neutral, with a flick of eyeliner and a nude lipstick.
