American singer Machine Gun Kelly (né Colson Baker) proposed to actress Megan Fox on Tuesday, January 11th 2022. And according to the Jennifer's Body star's latest Instagram post, she said yes!

Fox (35) posted a 25 second video of MGK (31) getting down on one knee to her account earlier today. She shared the romantic, multi-cam clip along with the caption:

"In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree"

"We asked for magic"

"We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma."

"Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him. And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes."

She ended the heartfelt post with a joke (we think), saying: "…and then we drank each other's blood."

Fans of the couple will note that this isn't the first time the two have referenced a banyan tree while speaking about their relationship.

According to a now-famous GQ interview with journalist Molly Lambert, while on a trip to Bora Bora the pair went on a memorable adventure, which involved getting on a boat and climbing a mountain, while searching for a sacred banyan tree that they had seen on a map - a tree which they eventually found.

The same tree, it would seem, that they became engaged under.

Not only that but on banyan tree – interlude, a track from Kelly's 2020 album, Tickets To My Downfall, the singer can be heard having a conversation with Fox about how he cherishes the time they have spent together.

Over on MGK's Instagram account, fans were treated to a close up of the jaw-dropping engagement ring. He posted a video of the piece glittering on Fox's hand along with the following caption:

"yes, in this life and every life" 💍 beneath the same branches we fell in love under, i brought her back to ask her to marry me. i know tradition is one ring, but i designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birth stone) and the diamond (my birth stone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love. 1-11-2022

Designed by Kelly, with the expert assistance of British jewellery designer Stephen Webster, the unique engagement ring features an emerald (Fox's birth stone) and a diamond (MGK's birth stone) sitting on two magnetic bands of thorns.

Posting a detailed photo of the ring to Instagram, the team at Stephen Webster said:

"We were approached by Colson to create a very special ring that had true connections to both Megan and himself. During the creative process Colson had mentioned that Megan's birth stone is Emerald, which he wanted to incorporate in some way along with a Diamond, his birth stone. The resulting ring actually consists of two rings, which by the use of magnets buried within the Gold, are attracted to each other and sit together perfectly on the finger; a detail that is both modern and quite extraordinary."

It should come as no surprise to fans of the couple that astrology was tied into the personalised design, as the two have referenced everything from birth charts to soul status while speaking about their intense bond.

In July of 2020, while giving a joint interview on the podcast Give Them Lala... With Randall, the Taurus bride-to-be spoke about her relationship with fellow Taurus, Kelly, saying:

"I knew right away that he was what I call a twin flame. Instead of a soulmate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has ascended into a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time. So we're actually two halves of the same soul, I think. And I said that to him almost immediately, because I felt it right away."

The actress later added that she had "put him through all of this astrology stuff" from their second day of filming on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass in 2020.

Although the two had met briefly at a party in LA years before, these stars' stars didn't fully align until they found themselves working on the thriller together in Puerto Rico.

At the time, Fox was still married to her husband of 10 years, actor Brian Austin Green, but the announcement of their separation came just a few months later.

The 90210 star later stated on his podcast, ...with Brian Austin Green, that he and Fox had been drifting since the previous year.

Fox has three children from her relationship with Green - Noah Shannon Green, Bodhi Ransom Green, and Journey River Green - while MGK has a daughter, Casie Colson Baker, with his ex-girlfriend, Emma Cannon.

In June of 2020, the twin flames became an official item, with the Bloody Valentine singer tweeting: "i'm calling you girlfriend, what the f**k" life imitated art on that one."

Since then, fans have been treated to a lot of red carpet PDA, weird and wonderful details of the duo's first encounter, tales of matching tattoos that read 'The darkest fairytale', and viral bathroom photoshoots with fellow punk rock couple Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian.

We can't wait to see the wedding pictures.
