According to the fashion house, the custom thread work pressed flower ballgown and veil was crafted and hand-embroidered by eight modistes over 1,400 hours.

Crafted in the designer's New York City atelier, the dress features a flurry of romantic ivory pressed flowers that cascade from the classic neckline.

Her ball skirt is a "technical feat" with over 20 layers of tulle that drape atop a crinoline petticoat.

"We spent months designing my dress to perfection with the amazing Oscar de la Renta designers, Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim," Paris told Vogue.

"I love how it turned out. I wanted something that was timeless, elegant, chic, and iconic, and I am so happy."

The bride's glam squad consisted of fashion stylist Sammy K, hair stylist Eduardo Ponce and make-up artist Steven Tabimba. Working under the theme of "timeless beauty", the team of experts kept Paris' look simple and swept back so as to let the incredible dress shine.

Writing a post-wedding blog post on her website, ParisHilton.com, the 40-year-old said that getting glam with her bridal party was the perfect way to kick off the celebrations:

"It was the perfect bonding time for my bridal party and I as we sipped on champagne and laughed, and cried tears of joy when sharing all of the memories from the past. I was in awe that this day had finally arrived."
