It was a glamorous weekend as Ireland's most stylish stars descended on the Alex Hotel for the inaugural Stellar InstaStar Awards, making the most of the opportunity to turn heads with their looks.
We've been spoiled for fashion over the last few months, with award ceremonies, premieres and events giving celebs a chance to air out their most dazzling outfits. But it's been a minute since we saw our favourite Irish stars gathered in one place, dolled up to the nines, and they did not disappoint.
The awards celebrated Ireland's best content creators across fashion, beauty, comedy, podcasting, and more, highlighting those who have brought some cheer, brightness, inspiration and motivation to our online worlds.
And serving up the inspiration was Roz Purcell, who dazzled in an iridescent green gown, featuring racy cutouts across the top, a matching wide belt to cinch in her waist and a daring thigh-high slit. She accessorised her look with a smattering of rings, a high and voluminous tousled ponytail and a shimmering blue cat eye liner.
The star always walked away with the award for InstaStar Of The Year, and rightly so: where would we have been without her Insta confessions, ghost stories, break-up tips, hiking recommendations and endless baking and style inspiration?
Influencer Louise Cooney also made a dramatic entrance, wearing a stunning Old Hollywood-inspired gown for the event. The gorgeous navy beaded dress featured a scoop back, form-fitting bodice and layers of shimmering beads. It was rented from The Ivory Closet in her native Limerick, so she wins sustainability points for her stunning look, too. She paired it with a bold faux fur jacket from Bebe x Tess Daly.
James Kavanagh stunned in a chic velvet two-piece suit with velvet and fur-accented loafers, while Louise McSharry pulled out the stops in a sequin-embellished black fringe dress, worn with a cream trench coat and bold green handbag and ankle boots.
Cementing her title as Miss Ireland 2021, Pamela Uba wowed in a regal shimmering cream gown and cape by Phoenix V, featuring heavy gems and beading, a high collar, thigh slit and flowing train. She wore her hair slicked back into a full bouffant to let the outfit do the talking.
Fionnula Moran also dressed to impress, wearing a stunning black beaded gown, featuring a dramatic plunging neckline, full sleeves and sheer sleeves and skirt. Even more impressive was that she found her gown on Depop for €15, proving that secondhand is the way to go.
