After an already spellbindingly stylish slew of photo calls, Ruth Negga has outdone herself yet again with her latest red carpet appearance.

With the release of her latest film Passing, the Irish actress has been dazzling on the red carpet, establishing herself as one of our most fashionable – as well as talented – stars.

With an eye for architectural designs, sleek silhouettes, pops of colour, texture and pattern and a love for edgy accessories, Negga is proving to be as bold with her fashion as she is with her acting. Styled by Karla Welch, one of the most sought-after and highly respected stylists in the industry, her looks have been some of the most head-turning on the red carpet.

Last night, Negga stepped out in another stunning look, this time to accept the Spotlight Award at the 24th SCAD Savannah Film Festival where she also did a Q&A session with fans.

For the occasion she wore a bold take on a traditional suit, in a deconstructed black two-piece blazer and maxi-length skirt. The jacket featured a high collarless neckline edged with black satin, satin-edged cuffs and striking gold buttons down the front.

Making it even more modern was the cropped length, which exposed a flash of the star's midriff. The skirt, by contrast, was a column silhouette, with black satin trim at the waist and a sleek high side slit to add to the drama.

To add some sparkle to her otherwise understated and timeless outfit, Negga wore a selection of gold bangles on her wrists, as well as a chic gold ear cuff on one ear and a vintage-inspired gold beaded micro bag. Adding her usual edge, though, was a pair of patent leather ankle boots, which contrasted her classic outfit perfectly.

Her makeup was also especially eye-catching, as created by makeup artist Rebecca Restrepo. Sticking to the modern classics, Restrepo created an understated but bold look with a tonal floating eyeliner in brown that added a soft emphasis to Negga's eyes. With a lick of mascara and a classic red lipstick, her makeup could have been straight off the runway.

Finally, Negga wore another dazzling hairstyle created by Marcia Hamilton, who has been styling her hair for this press tour. For this occasion, she wore her hair in its natural texture teased up, while the sides were intricately braided.
