It's been a long time since we've spotted Meghan Markle taking part in public engagements, and we've missed her take on Royal fashion since she and her husband Prince Harry stepped back as senior members of the Royal Family.
But as the couple take part in a series of high-profile talks and meetings in relation to their humanitarian work, we finally get a glimpse of her renowned style.
The Duchess of Sussex made her first public appearance for 2021 in an effortlessly sophisticated look, as she took to New York City with Prince Harry. Starting their visit with a trip to the One World Trade Centre with New York City mayor Bill de Blasio and Governor of New York State Kathy Hochul, the couple marked the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

The couple are taking part in a three-day tour of the city, ending on Saturday with a worldwide event on Saturday urging leaders to adopt a vaccine equity policy to help curb the pandemic.
Meghan wore a stunning monochrome outfit for the day, choosing classic and timeless over trendy and eye-catching, though her ensemble was striking thanks to its understated glamour.
She chose an elegant navy longline coat by Giorgio Armani, featuring stiff lapels that lay flat and a single silver button, to maintain a tailored silhouette. She paired this with a matching navy turtleneck, flowing navy straight-leg trousers and a pair of Aquazzura Purist Pumps, also in navy.
She kept her accessories minimal, with just a pair of silver stud earrings and a few rings adding a touch of sparkle, while her hair was slicked back into a sleek bun.
Her makeup was dark and smokey, adding a touch of glamour to her otherwise business-like look. A rich smokey eye, glowing bronzed cheeks and a nude lipstick completed the fresh look.
