It was a long 18 months with no opportunities to dress up, go out and enjoy a night on the town and with restrictions lifted on indoor dining for vaccinated guests, there's no doubt countless people making the most of the balmy summer nights while the weather lasts.

One star leading pack is Muireann O'Connell, who shared a stunning snap to her Instagram after hitting the town for a night out, which happily meant a night indoors at a restaurant. Dressed to the nines, Muireann wowed in an outfit that championed sustainable Irish brands and put her spin on the classic jeans-and-a-nice-top combo.

"Out-out by going inside-inside. Yeow!" she wrote to her 62,000 Instagram followers, looking stunning in an all-black outfit brought to life with pops of colour and patterns.

She chose a striking one-shouldered black top, with an asymmetric neckline and a dramatic puff sleeve to bump up the glamour, by renowned Irish designer Aoife McNamara. She added: "It's all sustainable baby, and made in Ireland! Aoife McNamara is a treasure!"

She's wearing the Black Alexandra Blouse, which costs €160.

Known for her sustainable pieces made "to protect nature", Aoife's designs typically feature romantic details, soft shades of white, pink and blue and are beloved by everyone from Rozanna Purcell to Louise Cooney. With on trend silhouettes like floaty shirts and oversized blazers, as well as statement pieces like satin corsets, she's one of the most coveted designers in Ireland.

She paired this with classic black skinny jeans, a pair of strappy black and leopard print heeled sandals and a hot pink handbag from PEELO, another Irish brand that we're loving at the moment. Created by Julie Peelo, her pieces are simple and striking, usually coming in a range of bold colours and with a polished finish.

Muireann wore the Saffiano Crossbody Bag in Hot Pink, which costs €145, which is reduced from €225.

To finish her look, Muireann styled her long bob poker straight and sleek, with a hot pink lip to match her bag and a subtly smokey eye making it appropriate for a night on the town.
