Love it, hate it - or really love to hate it - reality TV show Love Island has become a pop culture sensation over the past number of years, with viewers across Ireland and the UK tuning in six nights a week every summer to watch a group of 20-somethings scramble to find their one true love... and a cash prize.

Now in its seventh sizzling series, the show will be hosted by Irish TV presenter Laura Whitmore. The Bray woman will be at the helm as the islanders do their best to flirt, date, couple up and try and avoid being 'dumped' from the villa.

With new arrivals, heads may turn, while others will prove their true feelings, and all narrated by the voice of the show, Laura's husband, Ian Stirling.

These two really are setting an example for the islanders!

In the lead up to meeting the latest batch of islanders, Whitmore has been dressing to impress - kicking off the press tour in a fabulous dress from Galway-born designer, Joanne Hynes.

And with heart-to-hearts and broken hearts at the heart of every episode, this melodramatic series lends itself to some tongue-in-cheek style, with relationship-themed outfits always welcome.

Going by Whitmore's latest look, it seems that she absolutely understood the assignment.

The presenter stunned in a blue and white two piece from Valle & Vik, aptly named The Revenge. The sweetheart neckline corset costs £255 while the matching A-line skirt comes in at £175.

Styled by Emma Lane, Laura completed the ensemble with a pair of colourful heels from London designer Kat Maconie; a crystal necklace from Rock + Raw and a vintage-inspired chain from Kirstie Le Marque; stacked rings from Millie Savage, Daisy Jewellery, and Monica Vinader.

The pièce de résistance of the outfit, however, has to be the 'my type on paper' hair slides from Tilly Thomas Lux. Starting at £50, these personalised decorative 18 carat gold plated hairpins are handmade in London and priced per letter.

When it comes to Laura's look, we'd say they're worth every penny.
