Prince William and Kate Middleton have started their royal tour of Scotland, with William having started with some engagements last week. However, all eyes were on Kate as she stepped out in a stunning royal blue outfit that gave a nod to Scotland.

The couple are touring the country and started their joint engagements with a visit to Turning Point, a social care provider. The organisation helps those affected by alcohol use and offending behaviours, supporting them as they get back on their feet.

They also learned about the Scottish Violence Reduction Unit, which aims to show that violence is preventable and not inevitable. The unit offers everything from boxing to EDM recording to help those dealing with violent behaviour, and even Kate got to grips with mixing some EDM.

When she mixed a bass-heavy track with synth layered over it, her husband teased her saying, "What's that? It sounded like a cat… It might catch on – in about a hundred years’ time!" Laughing, he added: "Please turn that off, it's hurting my ears" as Kate chuckled, "Delete it, delete it, delete it!"

They also spent time with Sikh Sanjog, Scotland's only Sikh Family Support Charity, making curries and chapatis. Kate revealed that she loves making curries at home, with William adding, "She likes a bit of spice".

For the jam-packed day, Kate chose a stunning royal blue outfit that celebrated Scotland, wearing her cobalt blue Zara blazer. The blazer is a classic fit, with gold buttons and sharply tailored shoulders.

She paired it with a gorgeous cobalt blue skirt, the Contrast Hem Pleated Skirt by Hope Fashion, a new addition to the Duchess's wardrobe. Featuring a comfortable elasticated waist, contrasting satin two-tone effect and a semi sheer hem, it matched the blazer perfectly and was effortlessly sophisticated.

Kate paired her rich blue look with her Gianvito Rossi 85 pumps, in a warm golden brown shade. To this, she added her Métier London clutch bag in the 'Mini Roma' style, in a matching warm brown shade. She wore her Amaia Kids blue Phobe style protective face mask, that complemented her outfit perfectly.

For some glam, Kate wore her Spells of Love Double Strand Beaded Chain Necklace in gold, with the Flora Drop Earrings by Edinburgh jeweler Hamilton and Inches. The stunning earrings feature marquise-cut citrines, cabochon-cut rutilated quartz, and round brilliant cut diamonds, which complemented the rich browns in Kate's outfit.

Her hair was worn down and blow dried into a glossy straight style, with her makeup fresh and dewy.
