When it comes to fashion, Angela Scanlon has an eye for details, whether that's the nailing winter layers, rocking loud and interesting prints or accessorising with something that makes you look twice.

We love her fondness for clashing patterns, voluminous silhouettes and colour palette of soft pinks, fierce reds, grungy greens and more, and usually end up coveting something of hers once we start scrolling through her Instagram.

The Irish presenter always brings something unusual and charming to her looks, and her most recent one is no different.

Sharing a post on Instagram, Scanlon celebrated the opening up of pubs in the UK, where she is based, writing: "I cannot tell you how good it was to put ALL my clothes on at once, endure the camel toe of a snug pair of jeans, do my make up in the toilet, sit on a bracingly chilly terrace & eat chips. I kind of forget how to get dressed & that is something I want to keep!"

And her outfit for the night was perfect for a breezy spring day. Starting with a simple white t-shirt and straight leg blue jeans, the star layered a sunshine bright yellow blazer jacket on top, studded with big white buttons.

Over that she added a dazzling blue and white striped overcoat by Belgian designer Dries Van Noten. The coat, which one commenter called "corner shop plastic bag esq" featured full sleeves, A-line silhouette and a neat collar.

Stunning as this outfit was, it was the accessories that brought it to a new level. Scanlon added a pop of colour by pairing it with ruffled orange heels that tied at the ankle with a ruffled strap.

The most interesting part of her outfit, though, was the neat leather handbag she added, which was inspired by a Dublin door. The design is by Irish brand My Name is Ted, a heritage leather brand named for the designer's grandfather, who "who made leather bags & accessories using his mouth and left hand, since 1942", according to their website.

The Mini Door 4 Seasons bag features a rounded design mimicking the shape of a Georgian door, with four mulitcoloured panels to the front. Costing €495, it's available in a range of colours on their website now.

Scanlon finished her look with a smattering of chunky gold rings and dangling gold earrings, with her hair styled into gentle waves and her makeup simple and light.
