All the celeb looks from the BAFTAS 2021

The 74th EE British Academy Film Awards, also known as the BAFTAS, are taking place across this weekend, with the ceremony broadcast across the UK and Ireland at 7pm tonight.

Regarded as the British Oscars, the BAFTAS are the last stop in a long road toward the Oscars, with winning performances often tipped for Academy Awards.

Although winners will be accepting their gongs virtually from home, an opulent ceremony – complete with red carpet – will be taking place in Royal Albert Hall where a host of stars will present the winning awards.

This year, Tom Hiddleston, Richard E Grant and Hugh Grant will be among the presenters based in London, while Renée Zellweger, Rose Byrne and more will present awards virtually from Los Angeles.

Prince William had been expected to deliver a speech via video link on the impact of Covid-19 on the film industry, as he is the president of BAFTA. However, following the death of Prince Philip – the organisation's first president – earlier this week, his appearance will not go ahead.

And among the nominees are stars such as Vanessa Kirby, Frances McDormand, Daniel Kaluuya and our own Barry Keoghan, and more, so we're expecting many daring and elegant outfits tonight.
