Even if the weather isn't all the way there yet, spring has sprung in Kensington Palace as Kate Middleton dazzles in pastels in her latest look.
The Duchess of Cambridge has been carrying out engagements virtually over the past few months, appearing over Zoom to discuss everything from mental health to Covid-19 and the ongoing pandemic.
With this in mind, Kate has perfected her work from home looks, most often choosing minimal basics like blazers and elegant sweaters. But it looks like the Duchess is taking the brightening weather to heart as she starts adding pops of colour to her wardrobe again.
Kate made a solo appearance to speak with Jasmine Harrison, who became the youngest woman to solo row the Atlantic last month. Writing on Instagram, the Duchess's account said: "This International Women's Day we celebrate her remarkable achievement and the power it has to motivate and inspire women around the world."
Kate chose a delicate pussy bow blouse by London brand Boden, one of her go-to brands, in a stunning shade of pastel pink.
The blouse featured an elegant geometric pattern all over in baby pink and white, with long sleeves and puff shoulders adding some structure to the otherwise loose and relaxed silhouette. The pussy bow tied loosely at Kate's neck continued her nod to 70s fashion, which has been an influence in her wardrobe in the last few months.
Adding to the elegant ensemble, Middleton paired her look with a pair of soft pink drop earrings that complemented her outfit perfectly.
As for her hair and makeup, Kate went with a swept back half-up, half-down hairstyle, her long chestnut brown tresses blow dried sleek and glossy. Her makeup matched her outfit perfectly, continuing the rose tones in her look in her rose-hued blush and simple pink lipstick.
