Yesterday afternoon, Laura Whitmore announced that she and her partner, comedian Iain Stirling, are expecting their first child.

She posted the announcement on Instagram accompanying a photo of a Guns N' Roses baby grow:

"So I've always tried to be protective over the personal side of my life. A lot of things are just for me and my loved ones and we've chosen not to share publicly. However I want to now share good news as it's our news to share – and I'm gonna be honest it's starting to look like my lock down beer belly is out of control. Iain and I are expecting a baby early 2021."

Following the exciting news, the 35-year-old took to Instagram to unveil a series of ultra glamourous looks she wore for her recent photoshoot, saying:

"I've spent almost 6 months hiding or being conscious of my body (well to be honest I’ve spent over 30 years doing this). But in particular as my body changed I have felt very protective of my baby bump. I’ve seen all sorts of comments 'oh Laura’s had a boob job’ ‘her legs are too skinny’ ‘has she put on weight? ‘ ‘she needs to eat more cake!’

"I want to say a massive thank you to Ryan and everyone at @hungermagazine for giving me the space to talk about my pregnancy on my terms and in my words. And the legend @clairerothstein for showing my bump in such an empowering way and making me feel like a [fu***ng] QUEEN! Thanks to the team @dundascomms"

With a penchant for sky high heels, sharply tailored suits, chic mini-dresses, and retro coats, Laura Whitmore has cemented her role a style icon. And, going by her recent photos, pregnancy hasn't changed the TV star's signature style one bit.

Posing for Hunger Magazine, the presenter was styled by art director and fashion stylist Dee Moran, with make-up applied by Tori Ball, hair styled by stylists from The Mane Style, and red hot nails painted by Michelle Class.

Photographed by Claire Rothstein, Laura's first look was accessory heavy with slicked back hair, a bold red lip and statement silver jewellery. Posing for the shot wearing Triumph Lingerie and a casual denim jacket, Whitmore looked incredibly chic while holding her baby bump, lounging on a white couch.

In the next photo, standing in front of a minimalistic white backdrop, Laura stunned in a long black trench coat, black lingerie and Jimmy Choo heels with sheer Falke stockings accentuating her bump. Sophisticated and striking, the mother-to-be looked incredibly glamorous.

For her final look, the presenter delivered a photo worthy of a pin-up. Wearing Soru earrings, sky-high Jimmy Choo shoes, Falke stockings and Triumph lingerie paired with a crystalline shirt from David Koma, the Bray native looked exceptionally elegant.
