With so many of her public engagements taking place over video call, we can crown Kate Middleton the queen of Zoom call fashion.

The Duchess of Cambridge has long been celebrated for her take on royal fashion, with the 'Kate effect' a very real and valuable phenomenon. But in recent months the Duchess has pivoted her style somewhat to suit her new way of working: mostly at home in Kensington Palace.

From on-trend knits to silk shirts, Kate has perfected her polished and feminine WFH wardrobe, and her latest look is especially glam.

The Duchess was joined by her husband Prince William for a call to beneficiaries of Future Men's Fathers Programmes, which help fathers develop their confidence as parents at every stage of their child’s development.

Together, they spoke to fathers about the main challenges of fatherhood and how the initiative has helped other men.

Those of us working from home know the importance of making a statement with your top, even if you're still in pyjama bottoms, so following Kate's lead is a surefire way to impress.

The Duchess chose a stunning blouse in a delicate retro pattern by designer Michael Kors. The Medallion Silk-Blend Jacquard Blouse comes in a soft beige shade and features an intricate tile-inspired pattern in contrasting black and gold hues and accented with black polka dots.

The blouse is made of silk and viscose, giving it a flowing, feminine silhouette, which contrasts perfectly with the pintucked chest, puffed sleeves, pleated fronts, buttoned cuffs and sharp pointed collar.

Kate wore the blouse with minimal jewellery, letting the somewhat festive blouse do all the talking and pairing it with just a simple pair of gold earrings. Her hair was worn in a full curly blow-dry and her makeup kept fresh and simple, with a smokey shadow on the eyes.
