She may be a Duchess for now, but she's always the queen of chic and casual style. Though known for her regal elegance and polished take on royal fashion, Kate Middleton has been turning out some cosy looks since the weather has gotten cooler.

And while we've always loved drooling over her Alexander McQueen this or her Emilia Wickstead that, coveting her jumpers and jackets is much more reasonable!

Middleton wrapped up warm in a sophisticated but cosy outfit as she visited the University of Derby to meet with students and hear how they've been managing with their studies since the outbreak of Covid-19.

While on the visit, Kate spoke with students about the strain the changes can put on their mental health, and how student organisations are stepping up to ease that. She also visited the mock nursing ward, and spent time with some of the university's athletes.

For the busy occasion, Kate once again chose a number of pieces by Massimo Dutti, a brand she's been wearing more and more the past few weeks.

She stepped out in the line's Handcrafted Checked Wool Coat, costing €249, a cosy oversized coat featuring a straight silhouette, lapel collar and large pockets in a warm brown gingham print.

She paired this with a Cashmere Crewneck by the brand, a crew-neck jumper in a crisp aquamarine shade that perfectly complemented the warm hues of the coat. She added a pair of sharply tailored trousers in a dark shade, accented with a slim leather belt.

She finished her look with a pair of Gianvito Rossi Piper 85 pumps, black suede court shoes with a sturdy block heel that she returns to again and again. And of course, she wouldn't be seen without her Amika face mask, this time in a new pattern: the autumn floral print, Liberty's 'Katie and Millie'.

For a touch of sparkle, Kate added her Halcyon Days Maya Torque Aquamarine Bracelet, which matcher her jumper perfectly, as well as her Gold Disc Circle Earrings and Personalized Gold Three-Layered Disc Necklace, both by Galway-based brand All the Falling Stars.

And it seems Kate has gone lighter for the new season, as her usually chestnut-toned locks looked like they'd gotten some honey highlights. Her makeup was kept simple as always, with a rosy blush on her cheeks and a nude lip.
