When the autumn hits it can be hard to navigate your wardrobe, as the odd humid day makes wearing anything more than jeans and a light jacket unbearable and the cold evenings leave you shivering. Nailing a perfect autumn look can be tough, so leave it to Laura Whitmore to serve up the inspiration.
The Irish presenter and DJ always dresses immaculately, with all of her outfits bursting with personality and style. Whether she's dazzling in a metallic suit and platform heels while out on the town, or giving a masterclass in vampy, feminine tailoring, she's one of our go-to style queens.
And her latest look has us racing to the online shops. In an Instagram post, Whitmore shared her take on October dressing in all its cosy, rich and expressive glory.
The star stepped out in a faux suede jacket with a ruffled shearling trim. The jacket – the Lulu style by buzzy London brand Charlotte Simone – is the perfect shade of warm and rich tan, with dramatic faux Mongolian shearling collar and cuffs in a contrasting lighter shade of cream.
The loose silhouette makes it ideal for layering over autumn staples, like Whitmore's Nasty Gal midi dress in a charming blue and beige floral print.
While it usually costs €425.06, the jacket is currently sold out as the brand does limited collections of its pieces. However, its 70s-style silhouette is popular among many of the high street brands, not to mention through secondhand and vintage shops.
If the jacket wasn't striking enough, Whitmore pulled her outfit together with some exceptional accessories. Her Rag and Bone fedora, in a soft charcoal shade and accented by a tan trim, added a chic boho note to her look, while her black lace up ankle boots by Kurt Geiger kept the outfit comfy and casual.
As always, Whitmore looked polished and elegant, her long blonde hair worn in a centre parting and gently waved alongside her face. Her makeup was kept flawlessly matte and soft, with a peachy nude lip and a slight flush to her cheeks.
