Victoria Beckham's Spice Girls boots go up for sale for £4,100

If what you want, what you really, really want, is a bit of true pop culture fashion history, then now might be your chance.

A pair of embellished denim boots worn by Posh Spice herself, Victoria Beckham, while performing with the Spice Girls have popped up for sale on Ebay – for a cool £4,100.

The boots had been specially made for Beckham and donated by the star to British Red Cross shop, along with boxes of other rare and expensive designer pieces from her and her husband David Beckham's wardrobes, to raise money for victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Phillippines in 2013.

The donations caused a huge stir at the time, with fans queueing around the corner from the shop to try and nab a piece from the Beckhams' wardrobes. The drop included everything from pieces by Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton and Manolo Blahnik to some of David's trademark baseball caps.

She may be one of the most sought-after fashion designers now, but these stiletto boots are a far cry from the polished and tailored pieces she's known for.

The size five boots are classic early 2000's fare: the calf-length boots are made from soft blue denim, with the star's named emblazoned in diamantés down each boot. The heels and toes are covered in a contrasting nude snake print, perfect for pairing with a snake print blouse or your favourite LBD.

While the soles are slightly scuffed from wear, the boots look to be in perfect condition otherwise.

According to the Ebay post, the boots are "a one-off item" and were "donated them to Red Cross charity in London in 2013". The seller includes a photo of the boots in the charity shop at the time, swarms of fans trying to grab one of the couple's donations.

There's also a snapshot of the receipt from when the boots were purchased, so you know they're legit.

In keeping with the spirit of Victoria's initial donation, the seller will be making a donation from the sale of the boots, writing "10% of the sale will be donated back to Red Cross charity".

While the price tag makes it impossible for many of us to do anything more than window shop, someone somewhere is going to have one of the best Posh Spice Halloween costumes going – whatever Halloween looks like this year!
