She’s the A-list actress that famously tripped over her custom Dior dress while collecting her Oscar for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook, but Jennifer Lawrence has long been one of the most down-to-earth stars in Hollywood.
Over the years, Kentucky-born Lawrence transformed herself from a young starlet to one of the world’s highest-paid actresses, and her wardrobe has consistently matured to boot.
When it comes to dressing for the red carpet, she always manages to nail the perfect balance between chic and daring, opting for flattering silhouettes.
As she turns 30 (August 15), we’ve taken a look back at JLaw’s best fashion moments…
Pretty in pink

In 2013, a fresh-faced Lawrence appeared at the Baftas in a stunning Dior Haute Couture gown, featuring a strapless bodice and sequin embellishments.
Red carpet glamour

Who could forget that Oscars dress? The infamous Dior ball gown that later floored Lawrence as she walked to collect her award is one of her most stunning looks to-date. Fair play, we think we’d struggle to walk in it too.
Lady in red

Lawrence looked ace at the 86th Academy Awards in this strapless peplum gown in bright red, showing you can still steal the show in a chic but simple outfit.
Flower power

No surprises here; Lawrence wore what appears to be her favorite designer – Christian Dior – for the premiere of the ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1’ in London. We’re a big fan of the bias-cut skirt and floral embellishments.
Silk style

Lawrence clearly knows full-length gowns flatter her figure, hence this sultry Dior Haute Couture gown she wore to an X Men-related screening in London. She paired the silver cut-out dress with a simple pair of earrings, a chain-link bracelet and a bold, crimson lip.
Stunning in silver

A dress made from crocheted material that resembles a tatty fishing net shouldn’t, in theory, work – but once again, Lawrence revealed she could look great in anything when she rocked up wearing this slinky Atelier Versace gown.
Seventies rainbow

One of our favourite Lawrence looks to-date has to be this demure Christian Dior gown with lashings of sparkles and a plunging neckline. The rainbow-hued number was paired perfectly with big, bouncy curls and smokey eye make-up, bringing a Seventies vibe to the ultra bombshell look. Consider us obsessed.
