When it comes to red carpet style, Zendaya is one of those rare fashion icons that always pushes the envelope, yet never seems to put a foot wrong.
The 23-year-old Euphoria star first cropped up on our style radar when she wore an exquisite velvet Vivetta dress to The Fashion Awards in 2017, and since then, she’s quickly become one of our favourite celebrity style crushes.

Plus, we’ve grown to love her even more after learning that she recently shot a secret movie in quarantine with Daniel Washington – one of the first feature films to be shot and completed during lockdown.
The covert film, which is called Malcolm & Marie, was written by Euphoria director Sam Levinson, and was shot while abiding to strict coronavirus rules with a limited crew on set, Deadline reports.
It’s not exactly clear what the film is about, but one thing’s for certain – Zendaya is sure to slay her onscreen wardrobe in the upcoming film, which was apparently shot between June and July of this year.
From her Cinderalla-inspired Met Gala dress to her Joan of Arc look in 2018, here are her greatest fashion moments from the past few years.
Suited and booted

We’re so used to seeing Zendaya in floor-length, showstopping gowns that we actually did a double-take when we saw her in this tailored suit for a photocall for Spider-Man: Far From Home.
The blazer and waistcoat are part of a houndstooth three-piece tuxedo from Alexandre Vauthier, which she paired with a ruffle-collar shirt and some simple straight-leg trousers.
Glowing princess

Zendaya stole the show at the 2019 Met Gala in this Cinderella-inspired ball gown, which was custom created by Tommy Hilfiger.
The actress hit the red carpet with her stylist Law Roach, who was cleverly disguised as her fairy godmother. With a few waves of his magic wand and a couple of wisps of smoke, the actress’s gown lit up in a real fairytale moment.
Joan of Arc

Proving she’s a queen in every way, Zendaya interpreted the 2018 Met Gala’s ‘heavenly bodies’ theme by dressing as Joan of Arc – one of Catholicism’s most famed female saints.
The armour-inspired dress, complete with chain mail sleeves and a breastplate, was a stroke of genius by Versace. The actress finished the look perfectly by wearing her hair in a chic bob, to mimic the style worn by Joan herself.
Beige isn’t boring

Although Zendaya is best known for making a statement on the red carpet, she also looks gorgeous when she’s keeping things simple too – as she did in this stunning fishtail Micheal Kors dress at the Vanity Fairs Oscar party in 2018.
Velvet vamp

Velvet is a tricky fabric to pull off, but Zendaya proved she can tackle even the most challenging fashion trends in this Vivetta gown at the 2017 Fashion Awards.
We love the Swarovski star-print sleeves and the elegant neckline, with an illusion body and equestrian chest details.
Green goddess

Early on in her career, Zendaya wowed in this sheer chartreuse number, schooling us all on how to look great in green.
The beaded Zuhair Murad creation looked incredible with her Jackie O style bob, which she teamed with some seriously sky-high gold platforms.
Intricately beaded and with a plunging, but flattering, neckline, it’s easily one of her most elegant looks to date.
