After taking a break from the spotlight for almost a year, Selena Gomez is back and has treated fans to heartfelt new track, Lose You To Love Me.
The empowering ballad has sent fans into meltdown on Twitter, with many speculating that the lyrics address her high-profile break-up with Justin Bieber.
"Thank you all for standing by my side through the highs and lows," Gomez cryptically wrote to her 158 million fans on Instagram, as she debuted the track online.
Despite her ups and downs in the public eye, Gomez always manages to look effortlessly glamorous, and has evolved from the Disney girl next door into a super feminine red carpet goddess.
Here are some of her best fashion moments to date…
Disney days
Back in the early days of her career as a Disney actress, Gomez favoured knee-skimming hemlines and skater silhouettes. Here she is looking every bit the teen star in a floral embellished look…

Keeping it casual
In 2010, Gomez was no stranger to skinny jeans. A staple of her off-duty looks, she rocked them on the red carpet too, with a peep-toe shoe and clutch bag.

Finding her jam
As her solo career began to mature, so too did Gomez’s wardrobe. She found her style sweet-spot in sexy-yet-edgy looks that distanced her from her years as a Disney star.

Sticking to what works
The all-grown-up vibe continued in 2013 as Gomez opted for figure-hugging styles. She often wears black on the red carpet, but she’ll sometimes switch things up with nude or gold tones, like she did here at the MTV Awards.

Amping up the wow-factor
There’s no denying her daytime looks have a distinct laid-back Californian feel (think blue jeans, washed-out tees and trainers) but when it comes to a night out, Gomez goes all-out with old school Hollywood glamour.

Sweet and girly
During her relationship with The Weeknd, Gomez’s style took on a new direction again. She often opted for florals and lighter pastel colours on the red carpet, rather than her trademark gothic black.

Off-duty look
Gomez hasn’t stopped experimenting with her style over the years, but she always knows how to dress for her body. When she’s not on the red carpet, she’ll keep everything super simple by sticking to the basics, but she’ll often make it relevant for now with a fashion trainer or some tinted sunnies.
High fashion darling
Now easily one of the biggest stars on the planet, Gomez seems to feel more comfortable with taking style risks.
Cutting off her long brunette locks and dying them platinum was a big style change, and the same goes for her wardrobe, where the glamazon dresses appear to have been replaced with high-fashion looks.
