Vogue's followers in a frenzy over stylist's stunning dress

We're well used to coveting everything that Vogue Williams wears, whether it's her silky slip dresses, stunning gowns or her lush faux fur coats.

However, we rarely tip our hat to the woman behind many of the presenter's looks, stylist Corina Gaffey, and frankly, it's time we changed that.

When Vogue posted a photo of Gaffey on her Instagram Story, dazzling in a whimsical and expertly patterned purple dress, we instantly understood why this team works so well in pulling together so many chic, cool and contemporary outfits.

The gorgeous gúna - midi length with long sleeves and in a breathtaking array of clashing prints like rich leopard, delicate florals and vibrant violet - was one of the best versions of the midi dress we've seen all summer, in a summer simply swarming with midi dresses.

Designed by Hofmann Copenhagen, the Riva dress captures what that luxe brand does well: clean tailoring but with whimsical and elegant patterns. Muted striped wide-leg trousers worn with a fresh and blurry take on leopard print; dresses mixing feminine coral and watercolour-esq patterns with punchy violet and animal print; gingham check as you've never seen it, with purple and orange spliced into the typical grey.

Even better was the impeccable styling, with Gaffey pairing it with leopard-print sandals, a poppy-red handbag and chic violet-and-blue sunglasses. The entire look was exactly what we've been looking for this summer: effortless, modern and fun.

Even Vogue couldn't resist fangirling about the ensemble, telling her followers she was likely to buy each of the pieces Gaffey wore just to recreate the look.

Be forewarned, however: if you want to nab the dress yourself, you'll have to save up. It's currently on sale on Zalando for €255 - but, that is reduced from €365 so, bargain? Right? Right?!
