Demi Isaac Oviawe is exceptionally good at juggling a busy schedule. This year alone she has studied for her mocks, trained for and competed on Dancing with the Stars Ireland, sat her Leaving Certificate and filmed the latest season of The Young Offenders.

We had high hopes that the 18-year-old would get the chance to kick back and dance the night away - without anyone commenting on her footwork - at her Debs but, earlier this year, she told Ray D'Arcy that she had no plans to attend because she didn't have a date.

"Somebody can start a petition," she joked.

Thankfully, a recent Instagram post has revealed that Demi did in fact go to the ball! Wearing a gown worthy of a Disney princess, the Nigerian-Irish woman looked absolutely stunning.

Sharing photos of her outfit on Instagram, she wrote: "Last night was my Debs and let's just say it was magical." She went on to thank her family and friends for making her night "a dream".

Posing outside the Limerick Strand Hotel, Demi wore a brilliant blue dress with a sweetheart neckline, off the shoulder detailing and thigh-high split. According to the actress, she found the dress at Milly Bridal, an online store that specialises in occasion dresses.

"It took me a few weeks to find the right dress," she told RTÉ LifeStyle. "I was busy throughout the year and I didn't know if I would have time to find a dress or a Debs date. But I'm happy to say that I found both and had a ball."

"The event was organised by Tribal Debs," she continued. "They did a fantastic job along with the Debs committee. I really enjoyed the night and I honestly wish I could do it all over again."

Demi completed the look with sparkling silver shoes which, by the sound of things, she put to good use.

"The lead singer of the live band brought me out on to the dancefloor to show off my moves from Dancing with the Stars," she laughed.
