The EE British Academy Film Awards is always a dazzling event, packed with the brightest stars, but somehow the Irish manage to shine ever more bright each year.
And Laura Whitmore, whose ability to put together glamorous and unexpected outfits, didn't disappoint.

Arriving at the ceremony, the presenter stood out from the crowd immediately, shimmering in a semi-sheer gown by Amanda Wakeley, a British lifestyle luxury brand that aims to show women at their most beautiful at any age through "effortless empowering chic".
Whitmore was every bit the muse, in that case, as her high-collared dress melded Old Hollywood glamour with a distinctly modern silhouette, with white stripes and beaded detailing.

Her accessories were also on the modern side, opting for loose waves slicked back and held in place with a chic assemblage of glitzy clips.
Finally, her copper-toned makeup and shimmery eyes ensured her natural beauty shone through.

Also flying the flag for the fashionable Irish was actor Barry Keoghan, who walked the red carpet with his girlfriend Shona Guerin.

Nominated for the coveted Rising Star award, the young actor was also one of the most elaborately dressed men on the night, wowing in a Dolce and Gabbana three-piece suit, adorned with an understated but daring blue metallic floral pattern. It was an unexpected choice for Keoghan, who is a Dior ambassador, but a look we absolutely adored.

Shona also stunned in a Dolce and Gabbana pink and black lace gown, making them quite the jaw-dropping pair on the red carpet.
