James Kavanagh gives his tips for dressing in the heat and what he sees on the horizon in the fashion word.
We caught up with the social media star following the launch of the Autumn/Winter 2018 collection at Brown Thomas.
So what fashion trends is James Kavanagh looking forward to for Autumn/Winter 2018?
"I'm looking forward to more logomania. There was a lot of, especially in the men's wear, graphicy Gucci signs on the jumpers and the back of jackets and dazzling stones and stuff like that, so Ioved that and there was a lovely bum bag from Gucci too.
"I'm loving the whole kind of granny-chic mismatched vibes but in menswear - you'd usually only see [that] in womenswear - so there's a lot of fun to look forward to this winter," he said.
Coming back to the now, what's James enjoying wearing during this heatwave?
"T-shirts and as much skin as possible. I'm not even looking to be dressing fashionably. In this heat, it's like.. how can I look the most naked," he laughed.
So what else is wild and wonderful in the enviable life of James Kavanagh?
"Myself and my boyfriend have just sent our cookbook off to print. That's gone to print and it'll be out in October. It's kind of like we're pregnant now and our baby is due in October. We're excited for our baby cookbook," he explained.
If James could bring anyone to the Brown Thomas breakfast, who would it be?
"I always say it but Anne Doyle. I'm obsessed with her. She's the craic. I'd love to share a little breakfast smoothie with her," he said.
