The Screen Actors Guild Awards took place last night and nominee Saoirse Ronan stunned once again on the red carpet in a non-conformist elegant baby pink dress by Louis Vuitton.

The Lady Bird actress was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role and the award went to Frances McDormand for her role in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

Saoirse wore a Louis Vuitton dress, Christian Louboutin heels, and Cartier jewelry at the event which took place at the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles, California.

The dress is not the typical awards-style that we've seen a lot on the red carpet in recent years: No revealing plunging neckline, or floaty trains, heavy underskirts or sleeveless cuts on this occasion.

Instead, Saoirse went for a modern look, clean-lines with edgy silver sequined embellishment. As a result, it stands out even more, in its sleek simplicity.
