Comedian, actress and writer Alison Spittle is having a whirlwind year. Not only is she gigging her current comedy tour and running her podcast The Alison Spittle Show, but she has just launched her new TV series Nowhere Fast and documentary Culchie Club.

We caught up with Alison at the RTÉ Autumn launch to chat about her success and her style. Not only does the woman know how to crack a joke but she knows how to mix colours and prints like nobodies business - our kind of woman.

As it turns out, the stars sometimes really are just like us. Alison revealed that she shopped her Summery look in all your favourite spots. You can watch her describe her outfit in the video above.

While her bolero (an Irish woman's essential) is from Penney's, her fab flower crown is from Claire's Accessories and her dress is from the English Market in Cork.

"This dress I bought in a shop in Cork in the English Market, I don't know, but it was a load of fat girls clothes and I was like 'I'm getting in there, I'm getting that stuff'."

In general, Alison loves to shop everywhere from charity shops to New Look and of course, Penneys. Check out the video below.

"I love charity shops, clothes swaps, Penneys, has to be Penneys, New Look to a degree and Claire's Accessories," she said.

Alison's new show Nowhere Fast and Culchie Club will air on RTÉ 2 soon. Check out the station's new season promo below.
