Dunkirk Red Carpet: Cillian Murphy & Barry Keoghan
Irish actors Cillian Murphy (Peaky Blinders) and Barry Keoghan (Love/Hate) flew to New York earlier this week as part of their press tour for Christopher Nolan's latest feature, Dunkirk.
The two looked incredibly dapper on the red carpet at AMC Loews in Lincoln Square for the US premiere of the war drama.
Movie star Cillian opted for a classic navy suit, white shirt and tan loafers. Navy is a favourite colour of the actor who once told fashion website, Mr Porter, that his style was straight and to the point.
"You can’t go wrong with navy. My taste is very much: a good pair of jeans, a good jacket, a good pair of shoes. Well-made things that fit. I’m not adventurous."
Mr Murphy is currently starring in hit TV drama Peaky Blinders where he plays Birmingham bad boy Thomas Shelby. This role requires the Irish man to wear his hair in a, now trendy, undercut. And while we think he looks only lovely, Cillian says he's over the look. He told British magazine ShortList:
"It's crazy that people like it, it's not grown on me in four years now. I normally keep my hair long."
Meanwhile, 24-year-old Barry Keoghan, best known for his role as the cat killer in Love/Hate, made a splash on the red carpet wearing a Dior Homme suit.
The Dubliner recently joined Dior's creative director Kris Van Assche's legendary 'style squad' which currently includes Twilight actor Robert Pattinson and Mr Robot actor Rami Malek.
Barry was joined on the red carpet by his girlfriend Shona Guerin who wore a beautiful floor length dress from House of CB with thigh split and zip detailing. She paired the dress with a clutch from Zara and shoes from TopShop.
