You might think she's French but actually not. Well, her name sounds French but Chloë Sevigny is actually American. And she rocks.

The ultra-stylish actress Chloë just launched her new collection with the brand Vintage Collective and it looks truly amazing. Vestiaire Collective resells luxury brands such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Burberry. The perfect vintage match.

Chloë is known for her roles in Boys Don't Cry (1999, for whom she has been nominated at the Oscars) and The Brown Bunny (2003), but above all for her original and vintage fashion taste. She has always worn really grungy outfits and is a true 'rebel girl'.

Because she's such a source of inspiration and to celebrate her rebel and vintage signature, the famous French pre-owned luxury clothes market place Vestiaire Collective just collaborated with the style icon to launch its vintage section and also a shop of her favorite pieces.

102 of Sevigny's handpicked favorite items are available such as Maison Martin Margiela legging boots from the 2000's, a Prada fur coat, and a 1960s Courrèges leather jacket, from $75 to $4,500.

At first they asked me to pick 20 things, and instead I chose around 100. Then, of course, I wanted to buy everything.

Chloë explains her love for vintage fashion in a very interesting way, and she knows what she's talking about: "When I was younger, shopping vintage gave me a sense of community - places to meet other weird kids and kindred spirits.

"Love Saves The Day - an old thrift store on 7th Street and 2nd Avenue (made famous by Madonna in Desperately Seeking Susan) - was one of the first places I would go when I came up to the city from Connecticut and I loved seeing how other people were dressing.

There was no street style or street chic then like there is now, so it was amazing inspiration and gave everyone a sense of belonging.

She's just a cool girl, shopping vintage stuff that she likes. She has a strong taste mixing pieces and loving them for their quality and style: "There's a max I would spend, and it's about $800. People might be surprised to hear that, but I'm actually pretty frugal and try and keep to a budget on individual pieces because I spend so much collectively."

I grew up having one object that was well made, rather than however many. It was always about quality over quantity.

If the style master can give you some wise advice about fashion, you disciple, here it is:

You have to start with one category or one brand. Focusing in on one idea can help, but it’s definitely challenging—I feel like if I had a desk job it would be very dangerous. I would scroll all day long.
