Clarendon Street in Dublin just got a little more stylish with the arrival of a brand new beauty lounge.

Yesterday evening, luxury lifestyle store Brown Thomas launched their brand new beauty lounge on Dublin's Clarendon Street. The lounge offers a range of hair, nail and eyebrow treatments and is also home to Ireland's first blowdry bar.

Personal beauty stylist Aidan Corcoran told RTÉ LifeStyle's Soraiya Ryan that the lounge will be a one-stop shop for beauty in Dublin! "You give your body to us and we make you look fabulous!"

Best Beauty Buys?
While we had him, we had to ask Aidan about his favourite beauty products for Irish women this summer. The stylist told us that SPF is the key ingredient to any good beauty product.

"My current favourite SPF product is the new Lancôme cushion compact - so good. It's a refillable cushion compact, I use it as my bb cream and it's SPF 50".

Nail it
Next, we caught up with Thea Green, founder of Nails Inc., who has set up shop in the new beauty lounge.

Thea told Soraiya that Claredon St, Unicorn Polish, and a simple white or neon polish are the perfect shades for summer.

"I love white nails for this summer, as well as wearing neons, I think white nails and definitely a white pedicure looks really, really smart and sophisticated."

Take note nail lovers, if you want to try the new Claredon St. shade you better snap it up quick as it is exclusive to the beauty lounge only. Thea says it's perfect for the "fashion-conscious Dublin customer".

Hair Fare?
Finally, we got chatting to AVEDA expert Jade Tinker who told us what Ireland's first blow-dry bar would have on offer plus she shared her top hairstyle for festival season.

Jade says the lounge will offer dry styling and an 'ultimate blow-dry' for events as well as the usual wash and blow-dry.

"It's super exciting for all those women who maybe don't have time in the morning before work or they're going out to an event and they want to just pop in for a quick blow dry"
