Adele responds to 'Shrek Dress' comments

Wearing a green Givenchy Haute Couture dress to the Grammys this year, Adele came under some harsh criticism for her outfit of choice, even being compared to Princess Fiona from Shrek by internet trolls.
Let me start w/the fact that I love her, but not her dress.. it reminded me of Princess Fiona! Sorry Adele but I do 💚 you! #Grammys #Adele pic.twitter.com/dlQ5C6SscF

A few days later, Adele reacted to these trolls on stage while performing in Perth Australia, saying with dignity and legendary frankness:
"I wore this dress, right, everyone said I looked like Fiona, I don't f****** care. It was Givenchy Couture.
They can say what they want, Obviously, I'm a large lady and I like eating food very much, but I was working out twice a day to fit into that Givenchy dress because it was quite tight."
The multiple awards winner won five Grammys on the night in question for her album 21 including 'Song of the Year', 'Record of the Year', 'Album of the Year', 'Best Pop Solo Performance of the Year' and 'Best Pop Vocal'.
Modest as always, she dedicated her awards to her competitor and idol, Beyoncé, saying,
"I’m very humbled and I’m very grateful … but my artist of my life is Beyoncé. And this album to me, the Lemonade album, is just so monumental.”
We personally loved the dress and as tribute to the Grammy winner, we're checking out Adele's fashion transformation starting in 2008 when she released her first album 19.
