Clearly, 2017 is Ruth Negga's year. Not only has the Ethiopian-Irish actress been nominated for an Oscar for her role in Loving, she was also nominated for a Golden Globe and has managed to become a Hollywood cover girl. First, she owned the cover of Vogue

Now, the Limerick lass is front and centre on the cover of Vanity Fair along side the Hollywood elite. Posing beside fellow Academy Award nominees Emma Stone and Natalie Portman, Ruth is owning the cover in a statuesque floor length gown that screams Oscar winner.

Famed portrait photographer Annie Leibovitz shot the Vanity Fair cover which also features Lupita Nyong’o, Amy Adams, Elle Fanning, Dakota Fanning, Aja Naomi King, Dakota Johnson and Janelle Monae. Each actress posed for an individual portrait and Ruth's did not dissapoint.

We are so excited to see what else this year has to offer this homegrown talent and we wish her every luck in the future! Be sure to cheer Ruth on in this year's Oscars on February 26, 2017.
