Need a quick Holloween Look? Why not morph into Elvira - Mistress of the Dark? Her scary but attractive look is simple and easy to achieve.
What you will need:
- A pale foundation (a cream-powder foundation will give you better coverage)
- Deep rose blush
- Deep red lipstick and deep red lipliner
- Violet Eyeshadow
- Liquid Black Eyeliner
- Black Mascara
- False eyelashes
- Deep red or black nail polish
How to get the look:
- Apply the pale foundation evenly to your face, ensuring you cover your whole eye area.
- Apply blusher heavily from your ear straight down your cheekbone almost reaching your lips, creating a very severe look.
- Apply a set of extra long, thick false eyelashes.
- Cover your eyelids from lash line to eyebrow with your violet eyeshadow.
- Using a black eyeshadow or a pencil, shadow the eyelid crease. Start at the inside corner of the eye, apply a thick line just above the eyelid’s natural crease. Follow with drawing in your eyebrows extending the line past the end of your natural eyebrow.
- With the liquid eyeliner start at the inner corner of the eye of the top eyelid and draw a thick line as close to your lashes and extending out past the end of your eye to nearly meet the end of your eyebrow line. Line the lower eye in similar fashion.
- Use the violet shadow, draw a line just below the lower lashes. Use a foam wedge or your finger to blend the edges out so they appear smoky and soft.
- Apply a few coats of black mascara on the upper lashes and one light coat to the bottom lashes.
- Finish off by adding a black beauty mark beneath the right eye with black kohl eyeliner.
- Apply false nails or nail polish in a deep red or black nail.
- Finish off the look with a black wig if you can get your hands on it (or some heavy back-combing), a little black dress and a pair of fishnets!
