Atelier Versace:
The week really sprang into action with the Atelier Versace runway show on Sunday which was opened by none other than model-of-the-moment Gigi Hadid, who famously features in the latest Versace campaign.

The Vogue cover girl walked alongside household names like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Irina Shayk, Lara Stone and Behati Prinsloo for what has been one of the most star-studded runways so far.

The collection featured a number of different styles, from statement dresses to sports-lux jackets and trouser co-ords, and classic tailoring. Monochrome featured heavily, with pops of neon and bold colours bringing the looks to life, and giving them a modern edge.

The collection brings the Atelier Versace woman from morning to night, brunch with the girls to a VIP event, and if you can afford the staggering price tags, there is something to suit everyone, provided you're willing to take the odd risk.

In terms of make-up, it was all about that smoky eye and winged eye-liner - a look that really is for everyone - while keeping the rest of the face fresh and dewy, with a nude lip.
Chanel:
The Chanel show is always one of the most highly-anticipated and now that Karl Lagerfeld's muse Cara Delevingne has taken a step back from modelling to focus on her soaring acting career, it's Kendall Jenner that has come front and centre.

As always, the setting was sublime and the drama of the Chanel show is incomparible.

The detailing, the cut, everything screams 'look at me' and even when Lagerfeld goes in a new direction, there is always that Chanel essence in everything he does. And of course, nobody does embellishment quite like Chanel.

Pastels and neutral tones dominated the runway, and the beauty look was reminiscent of Black Swan. The extreme, exaggerated eye-liner was in stark contrast to the laid back, slouchy pieces on display and the elegant sleek up-dos.

Giambattista Valli:
Tulle, embellishment and everything girly was key at the Giambattista Valli show. The romance, the decadence and the volume was simply stunning and the pieces just scream editorial.

While the tulle creations are incredible and work well on the runway, or in the pages of Vogue, it was the more traditional pieces - well, traditional for Giambattista Valli - that you could imagine being worn by the likes of Emma Stone, Emily Blunt or Diane Kruger on the red carpet.

Christian Dior:
Navy blues and earthy tones, exaggerated tailoring and luxe fabrics ruled the Dior runway and there was everything from simple, elegant, timeless pieces to modern, unique and a bit whacky.

Each look featured one statement element be it a dash of sequins, a dramatic neckline or an outrageous print. There was no room here for boring or ordinary.

The setting for the show echoed the drama of the designs, with navy pillars and mirrors making the space seem endless.
