The competition, which is now in its tenth year, gives budding designers the chance to have their creations brought to life by Newbridge Silverware.

Michelle's award-winning designs will go on sale as part of the Ariel collection in January 2016, which includes a silver plated necklace (€60), pendant (€40) and bracelet (€55).

As well as having her designs realised in the new bespoke Newbridge range, Michelle also received a student bursary and a host of goodies from Newbridge Silverware.

William Doyle, CEO, Newbridge Silverware said: "We are delighted to celebrate 10 years of this fantastic partnership with NCAD.

"As an Irish company, we are passionate about fostering young creative talent here in Ireland and providing up and coming designers with the opportunity to showcase their work in a professional setting. Over the past 10 years the standard has been exceptional and this year is no different."
