Every good makeup look starts with flawless skin, and her Warren picks his favourite products for creating a perfect base.
Good skincare products are key here - while natural, radiant foundation and concealers even out skin without creating a mask-like finish.
This is a perfect look for low-key brunches, the school run, and you can amp it up by simply adding a bold lip.

Warren Dowdall, Brown Thomas Personal Beauty Shopper: "We're going to start off with hydration, smoothing of the skin and prep, and then I'm going to show you how to create the perfect base for a flawless foundation.
"The first step is the Nars Optimal Brightening Concentrate so I'm going to take two pumps of that and apply it to the skin, blending outwards from the centre of the face. It's a treatment but also it has a cosmetic brightening effect on the skin. It's formulated with Vitamin C and anti-irritants to it's amazing on sensitive skin, it really calms and soothes and over the space of six weeks you'll start to see a visible difference in terms of any discolourations or unevenness in the skin and it lends an overall brightness and a natural radiance.
"The next step is eyes, and we're going to use a La Prairie Caviar Lift Eye Cream and apply it underneath Laura's eye, tapping it around the orbital bone really gently in outward motions, that helps any drainage around that area. The eye area is quite a warm area, a mistake a lot of people make is to bring their eye cream up to their lash line – it'll actually migrate upwards so you don't need to do that. Be very gentle, make sure you're using your ring finger or your baby finger."

He added: "The next step is one of my favourite moisturisers the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream, it's an amazing treatment for all skin types. It's rosehip and camellia oil based so you get loads of nourishment, it's a really nice texture, it smooths onto any skin type and it gives instant brightness, instant hydration and instant glow.
"The next step is a primer and I'm going to use YSL's Instant Moisture Glow – it's 72 hours hydration so it's amazing if you're somebody who needs to go from coffee to cocktails. It's all about moisture, moisture, moisture, keeping the skin glowy keeping it youthful keeping it fresh. It gives a perfect base for makeup, you get a gorgeous, long-wearing foundation, and it feels really comfortable.
"The first makeup product is Bobbi Brown's Intensive Skin Serum Corrector. I'm a big fan of this product, I've used it for years and years – it's one of my Holy Grail products. I'm going to start on the inner corner of the eye using Light Bisque which is a pinky tone – what this does is neutralise any discolouration under the eye so you get instant brightness and instant lift.
"I'm going to use another Charlotte Tilbury product The Retoucher as a facial concealer and to top up the under eye as well, because The Corrector for me looks bright and radiant but you want to make sure you bring it back down to skin tone so I'm using a slightly more yellow toned concealor to bring it back to skin tone. You can use this anywhere on the face, it's amazing for blemishes or covering up any redness in the skin, it acts as a little bandage.
"For foundation I'm going to use Tom Ford's Traceless Foundation, a water based really fluid, really beautiful foundation, buffing in light circular motions into the skin. You get a flawless finish in seconds it's really gorgeous.
"For contouring this season it's very much about a soft contour so I'm literally going to bring it just under Laura's cheekbone very gently, I don't want it to be too severe I want it to look really natural, like she's been sunkissed in the winter sun, maybe not in Ireland but somewhere nice! You get a very natural outdoorsy look from it. Make sure to use all your cream products, all your wet products together and then all your dry products together as well.
"Last but not least I'm going to use my favourite lipbalm, Bobbi Brown lipbalm, it's beeswax based so it's really beautiful."
