It may come as a bit of a shocker for anyone over the age of 25, but debs suit hiring is being replaced by buying, the shiny lapelled-look may be a thing of the past and boys bowties are much pondered purchases.

Some girls may spend months, years even, thinking about what they'll wear to their debs and traditionally the lads pooled together, headed to their local dress-hire shop and bulk ordered. Not so in 2015.

RTÉ LifeStyle's Leslie Leung went along to Louis Copeland's flagship store on Dublin's Capel Street to find out what's changed and who is wearing what.
