When time is of the essence I tend to slap on a light foundation with my finger tips and then conceal the dark circles under my eyes. Of late I've been gravitating towards the amazing Charlotte Tilbury concealer pen The Retoucher (€33). This is a magic little product - a hydrating and illuminating concealer which hides unsightly bags and imperfections, leaving an ultra-natural finish. I also like to apply stripes of this down the centre of my nose, on the top of my cheekbones and on my cupid's bow to add an extra dose of luminosity. It's super easy to use!
If my eyes are particularly tired or red, I then like to go in with the Eye Cheat (€25). This is a genius little kohl pencil in a neutral shade that you apply along your waterline. It instantly lightens and brightens the eyes and makes you look like you've actually had enough sleep, which is rare enough for me. I try to use a light hand because the kohl is quite soft and it can easily get lodged in your bottom lashes if you press too hard. It's a great little trick for making your eyes look bigger than they are, I love to use it at night-time too with a smoky eye instead of a black pencil when I want a fresher look.
The final, crucial step in my routine is the Brow Lift (€30), which was the first Charlotte Tilbury product I ever purchased. This is one of my favourite products ever and I find myself going back to it time and time again. I use the Cara Delevigne shade, which may not create brows quite as incredible as hers but does make a massive improvement! It has a tapered point, I like to use it with the slimmer part of the pencil to lightly fill in my brows where they are patchy. I start in lower inner corner of my brows, using light strokes to add definition to the arch. There's a brush on the other side of the pencil so you can brush through the product, leaving your brows looking perfectly groomed. As an added bonus - there's also a little applicator in the centre of the pencil which has a highlighter - I lightly dab this underneath the outer point of my brows and at my tear duct to add a bit of light.
En voila - these three steps instantly make me look and feel perkier and more polished!
