Electric Picnic is just a few days away, and the festival fashion is sure to be fabulous! We’ve already shared our top hair and beauty tips, and our guide to going retro. But what if you’ve been too busy to go shopping, or just aren’t bothered buying a new wardrobe?

With a few simple accessories, you can nail the fun festival look for just a few euro!

Flower crowns

Flower hair accessories are a festival staple! You can go for a full-on crown or a more subtle headband, hair tie or clip. This crown is just €4 from Tiger.

Stickers

Stickers are a fun and super cheap way to dress up for Electric Picnic! You can pick up a pack for just two or three euro in Dealz, Tiger, or most stationery and craft shops. Butterflies and flowers work well, and you can use them on your skin or your nails.

Feathers

Feathers lend a carefree, bohemian look to any outfit. While we wouldn’t recommend sporting a Native American headdress (Coachella-style), feather eyelashes, necklaces and earrings are perfect for a festival. You can get yourself some feathered friends in Claire’s Accessories, Penneys, Topshop, River Island, and Accessorize. These spotty earrings from Topshop are €7.

Sunglasses

The weather forecast looks good for this weekend, so make sure to bring your sunnies! Heart-shaped, circular, retro and tinted styles epitomise festival chic. Designer will always impress, but you can also shop vintage or pick up a cheap pair in Penneys, New Look, H&M or Forever 21 if you're worried about losing them. (Circular glasses - Guess, €88)

Hats

Hats are your festival saviour! They not only protect you from the sun and rain, but hide bedhead and greasy roots, and shade/distract from your tired face. This floppy hat from Accessorize (€44) will earn you bonus style points.

Glitter

Glitter is not just for kids! Like stickers, it can be bought in a craft or stationery shop, in Dealz or Tiger. Sweep it across your face, spritz a glitter hair spray on your barnet or make use of that glittery make-up you bought for a night out but never used again (Barry M glitter pots, €6.99, are fab and come in all kinds of colours).
