The gorgeous labels Self Portrait and Needle & Thread have stand-out dresses for the season ahead, while Alexa Chung's second collaboration with AG is supremely covetable - with a host of luxe 70s-inspired threads.

Outerwear is equally key, with brands such as Maje, Sandro, Cos and The Kooples proving ever popular, with a good variety of price points for investing in your winter coat.

BT2 Womenswear Buyer Claire Breslin said of the trends: "Key trends for BT2 this season include feminine styles of soft dresses and layered fabrics, lengths are definitely longer with mid-calf and floor length featuring throughout, and the 1970’s is going nowhere.

"In terms of fabrics, we are seeing a more modern edge with cut-out lace and ribbed knitwear.  The colour palette features rich jewel-inspired tones, with autumn colours in shades of ochre, mustards, yellows and burgundy."

Exciting news for beauty lovers is the permanent Jo Malone counter coming to BT2 Dundrum in September, while a Charlotte Tilbury counter will open in the store in November.
