The inaugural Irish Fashion Showcase aims to promote many of Ireland great fashion talents to an international market.
Una Burke Leather Artisan, Helen Steele, Heidi Higgins, Fee G, House of Delphine, Lucy Nagle, Jennifer Rothwell, Caroline Matthews, Chupi (Jewellery) and Carol Kennelly Millinery will be showcasing key pieces from their spring/summer 2016 collections at the showcase, which will be held in the Irish Consulate in NYC on September 10.
The brains behind the innovative showcase are Marietta Doran, fashion stylist, presenter and show producer, and Orla Diffily, PR & Event Management Consultant and founder/co-producer Kerry Fashion Week and the KFW Irish Fashion Industry Awards.
Top Irish fashion designer Don O'Neill, who is based in the US as the Creative Director of his couture eveningwear brand Theia, will make a special guest appearance on the night.
Marietta said: "Ireland Fashion Showcase NYC heralds a new and exciting initiative for Irish designers and, indeed, for the Irish business community abroad. The aim of the Showcase is to provide participating designers the unique and wonderful opportunity to present and promote their collections to an international audience. I am absolutely thrilled to be part of the inaugural IFSNYC keenly supported by Irish Design 2015. The IFSNYC is a game changer for Irish Design."
