London Fashion Week kicks off this morning in Somerset House and the first designer to show their Autumn/Winter 2015 collection is Korean designer Jackie Lee.
Lee launched her eponymous label J. JS LEE in 2010 and is known for her tailored, androgynous aesthetic. Lee's SS'15 collection included feminine dresses, oversized shirts and structured silhouettes. Her AW'14 featured some lust-worthy coats and jackets and we can't wait to see what she has on offer this season.
Irish designer Paul Costelloe will debut his latest looks in the stunning Waldorf Hilton hotel and I'll be having a chat with him after the show to find out about the inspiration behind his AW'15 collection. Costelloe is a household name here in Ireland and he is famous for designing pieces that women both want to wear, and love to wear. His SS'15 show was reminiscent of the 1960s so I'm wondering if he will continue that theme through to Autumn/Winter.
Jean-Pierre Braganza's pieces are both wantable and wearable and he is a master of print and pattern. There's a diversity to Braganza's collections that give them mass appeal and I have high hopes for his AW'15 looks.
Daniela and Annette Felder, of label Felder Felder, are known for their fun, colourful pieces that are always elegant and modern. I'm expecting some statement dresses, great prints and pops of colour this season and it's one of the shows I'm most excited about today.
Other designers showing today include Bora Aksu, Eudon Choi, Fyodor Golan, sass & bide and Teatum Jones.
While the runway shows are always a highlight of the day, soaking in the atmosphere at Somerset House is another and with so many editors, bloggers and street style stars flocking to the area keep an eye on @RTE_TEN and @RTE_Fashion on Twitter for all the action.
