Chanel Spring 2015 Makeup Collection

Shades of beautiful, youthful pink and coral dominate the range for the lips and cheeks, while the eyes are treated to beautiful pastel shades.

My star pick of the range is the Rouge Allure Velvet lipstick (€32) in the limited edition shade La Pétillante - a perfect orangey red that is wonderfully enlivening.

There is also a deep elegant plum shade called La Romanesque, as well as two satin finish Rouge Allure shades, the delicate pink Badine and the limited edition coral Insaisissable.

For more sheer, hydrating coverage the Rouge Coco Shine lipsticks (€31) come in red and coral Désinvolte and raspeberry Ētourdie.

The lip offerings are rounded off by two lip liners, Le Crayon Levres (€22), in pale pink Rose Délicat and coral Capucine, and two lip glosses, Levres Scintillantes (€27) in Fleur D'Eau and Crazy Fuchsia.

For the complexion, there are two products - the limited edition Blush Camélia Rosé (€43) a duo of pretty pinks, and the Joues Contraste powder (€38) in pale coral.

There are two new versions of Les 4 Ombres (€50), the limited edition Tissé Fantaisie which contains a rosy coral, golden sea green, intense coppery brown and satin white, and Tissé Paris which has a slate grey, a subtle and intense rosewood and a sheer ivory.

As ever with Chanel, the nail colours are particularly desirable, and top of my wishlist is Tenderly - a plum-tinged rosewood that is modern and romantic. There is also Desiro, an intense fuchsia pink, and Paradiso, a pearly pale green.

The Chanel Spring collection is on counter now.
