The handy little product, which is a perennial handbag favourite, now boasts better performance, wear and finish on the skin.

It has a really creamy formulation, and applies like a dream. I swipe it in stripes across my cheeks, nose, chin and forehead, then use my finger tips to even out the coverage for a really natural finish.

The excellent thing about this product is its versatility. It layers extremely well, so you can build the level of coverage to suit you. I also love using it to cover up blemishes, simply dabbing a small tipped brush lightly dipped with product on any problem areas.

I've been using the Warm Ivory shade - the third palest in the 24-strong range - which is a great match for my pale skin. There are two lighter shades - Alabaster and Porcelain - so this should cater for very fair Irish skintypes.

The Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick range is on counter now, €37.
