For those of us lucky enough to be jetting off in search of the sun, or those of us willing enough to embrace the Irish sea, one thing is certain - we’re all more than likely going to need a bikini at some stage over the course of this summer.
If there is one thing I dread more than revealing my less than perfect beach bod, it is looking for affordable and non-generic swimwear. Penneys, as always, have not disapointed and they have given us this colourful, fun and on-trend two-piece bikini for a price that I’m sure is unbeatable.
This tribal/aztec print bikini gives a nod to one of the biggest trends this season, the colours are fun and overall this is a cool and youtful bikini that will surely turn a few heads while you emulate a baywatch star on the beach. Retailing at a total price of €10 (€6 for the top and €4 for the bottoms) this is definitely a bargain.
The cut-out detailing on the top half of the bikini is interesting and fun. This subtle detail definitely gives the bikini a more expensive feel, more than it’s €6 price-tag. This bandeau top could also be a stylish addition to any outfit. Pair it with a plain high waisted skirt and a blazer, or loose shirt and this bikini top could add a very stylish element to any outfit.
Also, fret not for those of us with bigger busts, who wouldn’t dream of wearing a strapless top for fear of flashing unsuspecting beachgoers, there is a halter neck top available (also retailing at €6) which will give more support.
