With torrential rain belting up against the office window, and trees swaying at a frighteningly fast pace above the murky carpark, I feel like I am stuck in the middle of a cold, dull and dreary November instead of what is supposed to be a glorious summer’s day. To make matters worse, my not-so-wise decision to holiday in September is already starting to take its toll on my pasty skin.
While I am an avid fan of lashing on some Wow Brown developing tan throughout the week, followed by a generous dollop of Sally Hansen Airbrush in Tan Glow at the weekend, I always seem to be weary of putting tan on my face. From a young age I became attached to using Mac’s Refined Golden bronzing powder, as I convinced myself that the subtle sparkly particles give me a radiant just back from St Tropez glow.
To achieve a daytime golden glow, I usually opt for Benefit’s old reliable bronzer Hoola – which is a great little number for make-up lovers that tend to open their bags and find their bronzer in a million crumbly pieces.
It was only recently when I took a weekend trip to Paris that I decided to venture out of my bronzing comfort zone - Hallelujah for Sephora’s industrial sized bronzer.

Remember to tread lightly when applying with a brush as the large-scale size of the container may leave you picking up more powder than expected (think Snooki from Jersey Shore and you will get what I mean).
An extremely worthwhile buy, that is guaranteed to leave you glowing all summer long.
