I would recommend this treatment for people with similar hair to mine, it has left my hair very manageable and almost naturally straight. Even after 12 weeks, I could leave my hair dry naturally and it wouldn’t look like a birds nest! However, it wouldn’t be poker straight if left to dry naturally, to get this result I would have to use the hair dryer and hair brush, but there was no need for GHD after, which for my hair is a very good result.
The Procedure
The whole process takes 3 hours. The first stage, the hair is washed with Keune Keratin special shampoo which opens the hair follicles for it to hold the Keratin. Your hair is then blow dried and straightened with a GHD.
The Keratin capsules are then put in, this is a strong smell, it almost feels like you have a colour in. The hair is left for approximately 20 mins, and is then blow dried and straightened with a GHD.
The next stage was a smoothing treatment which was left in for another 15 - 20 mins and that was also washed out, blow dried and straightened with a GHD.
My hair looked amazing after the treatment, it was like all the heaviness and thickness had been taken out. It has lasted the 12 weeks and I have not had to use my GHD since the treatment.
Queen Beauty Emporium is a great place, the staff are very friendly and professional, I have become a returning customer since I got the treatment done and have been extremely happy with their colour and cuts. I am seriously considering getting this treatment done again. The price is steep (ranging from €175 - €250) but it lasts at least 3 months and my hair has never looked in such good health, although I would only recommend it for hair that is very frizzy and in need of extreme straightening
