Banks announces ANTM changes

Following the departure of photographer Nigel Barker on the judging table, as well as creative director Jay Manuel and runway coach Jay Alexander, Banks has enlisted the help of Katy Perry's stylist and a top male model to fill roles on the show.

The model and media mogul tweeted the news to her followers saying 'Welcome the FAB @JohnnyWujek & FINE @the_RobEvans 2 the @CW_ANTM! Excited 4 some cuh-ray-zee challenges. Start practicin' ur booty tooch!'

Male model and boxer Rob Evans will act as a third permanent judge, alongside Banks and Kelly Cutrone, who will continue on her role from last cycle having taken over from Vogue editor André Leon-Talley.

Going into Cycle 19, Banks and the television network who run the show, The CW, decided that fans will have a say in who stays in the running in the competition weekly.

Banks announced on Facebook, 'Fierce news, Fam, the newest addition to America's Next Top Model is you! Cycle 19's judging panel will include your votes, comments and video messages. You will have a say in which models stay... and who goes home.'

'Twice a week, starting Thursday, May 24th, you'll be able to use our Voting App to rank and sound off on all 13 models' best photos. Your input will shape the competition and you'll be able to see it play out in the fall. It's time for your voice to be heard; today on social media and soon on the show itself'

Nigel Barker, Jay Manuel and Jay Alexander will not return to the show

In another twist, The CW announced this week in a press release that cycle 19 of the show will be a 'College Edition'. Previous themed cycles have included an all-star cycle and a petite model cycle. The 18th season of the reality show is currently airing in America, which is entitled ANTM: British Invasion. The final of which takes place next week.
