L’Oreal Paris New Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Golden Mousse is the perfect way to inject a bit of sunshine into your life and onto your skin.
The pin-up tan, like that donned by glamourous, perfectly golden stars like Marilyn Monroe is the tan that everyone should want this spring/summer. Marilyn herself was an advocate for glowing illuminated skin, knowing that the way the light hit her skin would accent her celebrated curves in all the right ways – a technique which is still used today in modern Hollywood as seen at the Golden Globes and the Oscars.
I tried this tan out to see if I too could achieve a golden tan and avoid the all too familiar orangutan skin, that leaves you covering yourself up rather than flaunting your tanned skin. The tan itself is a lovely airy mousse formula, which is quick and easy to use. It can easily be applied with either your hands or a tanning mitt, leaving you with a natural glowing tan. As it dries almost instantly it can be applied whenever, so there is no need to plan putting on your tan anymore. The colour (natural tan) applied as claimed, very naturally and I was impressed with how little goes a long way, just three pumps and I had a lovely shimmering tan ready for the red carpet.
For those worried about streaky tan, which again is an all too familiar occurrence for me – a fake tan lover, but a terrible tan applier, there is nothing to worry about with this tan. It blends easily into the skin and the formula is tinted so you can see where you are applying it.
Overall, this is an easy, quick and affordable way of achieving that even-looking Hollywood pin-up tan which lasts for days. Retailing at €22.49, L’Oreal Paris New Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Golden Mousse is definitely the tan I’ll be wearing for the coming, with any luck, warmer months for that sun-kissed look.
